1.Introduction
This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use Company Setup Consultants Dubai, enquire about company formation, become a client, or apply to work with us. It covers what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
We handle personal data in line with UAE data protection requirements, and we apply equivalent standards to enquiries reaching us from other jurisdictions. Where local law gives you stronger rights than this policy describes, those rights apply.

3.Information we collect from website visitors
When you complete a consultation request, newsletter form or contact form, we collect the details you enter. That is typically your name, email address, telephone number, company name and whatever you tell us about your intended business activity.
We also receive limited technical information automatically when you browse the site, including IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP, referring page and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which content is useful.
4.Information we collect from clients
Company formation is a regulated activity, so engaging us requires more information than browsing the site. Depending on the service, we may collect:
- Identity documents including passport copies, Emirates ID, visa pages and proof of residential address
- Shareholder, director and ultimate beneficial owner details, including ownership percentages
- Corporate documents for company shareholders, such as certificates of incorporation, memoranda of association and board resolutions
- Financial information relevant to the engagement, including bank reference letters and source of funds information
- Screening results from sanctions, politically exposed person and adverse media checks
5.Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies. Necessary cookies keep the site functioning and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies help us see which pages are read and where visitors drop off, which is how we decide what to write next.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect how parts of the site behave. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to sell information about you.
6.How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and provide the consultation you asked for
- To deliver company formation, accounting, tax, audit and related services under our engagement with you
- To carry out client due diligence, identity verification and anti-money laundering screening
- To submit applications and filings to licensing authorities, free zones, registries and government bodies on your instruction
- To operate, secure and improve this website
- To send service updates and, where you have agreed, occasional marketing about relevant services
- To meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations
7.Anti-money laundering obligations
As a regulated professional services firm, we are required to verify client identity, keep records of that verification, and report suspicious activity to the relevant authority.
Where a report is made, we may be prohibited by law from telling you that it has happened. These obligations override any instruction you give us to delete your information, and they persist after our engagement ends.
8.Who we share information with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary:
- Licensing authorities, free zone authorities, offshore registries and government bodies, in order to file your application
- Registered agents, where the jurisdiction requires one to be appointed
- Banks and financial institutions, where you have asked us to support a corporate account application
- Service providers who support our operations, such as IT hosting, email and document management, under confidentiality obligations
- Professional advisers, auditors and insurers where genuinely required
- Regulators, courts and law enforcement where the law requires it
9.International transfers
Some of our service providers operate outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy, using contractual safeguards with the recipient where appropriate.
10.How long we keep information
Enquiry data from website forms is kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Client records, including identity verification documents, are retained for the period required by UAE anti-money laundering and corporate record-keeping rules. In practice this means several years after the engagement ends, and we cannot delete these records earlier even on request.
11.Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption in transit and confidentiality obligations on our staff. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us over the internet. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will act in line with our legal obligations.
12.Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:
- Confirm what personal data we hold about you and provide a copy
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete information, where we are not required to keep it for legal or regulatory reasons
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Stop sending you marketing communications
To exercise any of these, email info@companysetupconsultantsdubai.ae. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We do not charge for reasonable requests.
13.Children
This website and our services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
14.Links to other websites
Our site links to government portals, free zone authorities and other third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Read their policies before submitting information to them.
15.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The current version is always published on this page with its last updated date. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
